Musings on Marketing, Adventure, Culture & Creativity

A cross between a personal journal and  professional lessons learned, this is a little space to talk about the good stuff.

What Is Delpozo?

DELPOZO. What does that sound like to you?

To me, it sounds like a dish featuring partridges with rice, or a beautiful letterpress company. Well, it's not either of those - it's way better.

Delpozo is a Spanish fashion company founded by Jesús del Pozo in 1974. It was relaunched in 2012, and it now led by boy-wonder Josep Font in Madrid, who's carried the company to the global stage. Mr. Font studied architecture in Barcelona (where he was born), got involved with fashion in the late 80s, and was tapped to lead the brand just two years ago. His background in architecture is evident in his clothes. I think I swooned for his looks originally because they do feel sculptural, architectural. He interprets volume with originality.

The brand's feel is contemporary-romantic. It's sensitive and strong. Delpozo's are the kind of clothes you want to wear, and that you hope fit the way they're meant to because it'd be a heartbreak if they didn't.

I love when I watch a show and can imagine the pieces in my wardrobe and in my life. I'm looking for spark and for heart, and I think Delpozo's got it. This is my favorite look:

It's elegant, effortless, and classic. Does it remind anyone else of Ralph Lauren?

I'm feeling it, y'all. I'm really feeling it.

With that in heart,
